When I was recently asked if I would like to review a pot of the Dermatique Recuperating Cream, I checked it out on their website and said yes please!
About the product
Dermatique Recuperating Cream promotes the healing of dry skin, eczema, psoriasis and other chronic conditions in the gentlest of ways. It has no bad stuff. There are no steroids, artificial fragrances, mineral oils or parabens and it is super friendly to allergy prone skin. It can be used on any part of the face of body and is perfect for making your dry skin, fresh and healthy again.
What I thought of the product
Well – initially I thought, wow this would be great for Zach’s eczema skin. Then I realised that he is currently eczema free (yay!) and that actually, I have really dry skin that needs refreshing for summer – so I used it!
When I first opened the pot, I noticed that it doesn’t smell, as promised with the no artificial fragrances. On first feel, the cream is thick and creamy and first spread, it smoothed over the skin really easily. It also doesn’t feel greasy like so many moisturisers do.
I’ve been using the cream for a few weeks now and it has been brilliant. My legs were really dry and itchy before I started using it and they are now smooth, unflaky, and I’ll happily get them out throughout the summer – something I rarely do! I noticed as well that the cream stays on the skin all day. I was sat with my legs out the other day and I went to scratch an itch on my leg and I could still feel the cream on there. It’s almost like it forms a cream barrier on the skin to keep it hydrated all day.
It’s really easy to use the cream sparingly because a little goes a long way which is really good because for some (including me), it’s quite pricey. I have to say though, that if I had bought this, I wouldn’t be disappointed as I think it’s definitely value for money.
Is there anything I didn’t like?
No! This cream is great. It really has cleared up my dry skin issue and I even used it on my forehead when that was suffering a bit too. If Zach did have a breakout of eczema right now, I would use this immediately on him because I genuinely think it would work a treat.
If you suffer from any kind of dry skin and haven’t yet found the right product, I would definitely say give this a go.
Dermatique Recuperating Cream is available at www.dermatique.co.uk at the price of £29.50. And if you need extra clarification on how good this cream is, go check out the reviews on the site!
