The October blog tag

I was tagged by Karen from Really Missing Sleep and Clare from Freddie’s Mummy, to take part in the October Blog Tag and since I haven’t done a post like this for an age, I thought it would be fun!

Lisa (Hiya!)

What is your Favourite Colour?

Purple, although sometimes it’s pink!

What did you do today?

We had a nice (but cold) walk to the park, had some Halloween fun whilst we were there, and then we chilled out at home for the afternoon before having a Shepherds Pie.

Where are you currently?

At home, sat on the sofa in front of the Strictly results.

What is your star sign?

Cake or Ice Cream

Oh cake – everyone knows that right?!

Frozen or Moana

Oh this has gotten me a bit stuck but I’ll say Moana.

A night in or a night out

I am a proper home bird these days so definitely a night in!

Home cooked meal or takeaway

A Chinese takeaway – we haven’t had one for ages!

Pineapple on pizza or no pineapple on pizza.

Def pineapple – I know I’m a rarity.

Books or films

Books, although it’s easier to watch a film these days.

Autumn or spring

I love the colours of Autumn.

Flowers or chocolates

Full fat or diet coke

Full fat

Phone or laptop

What is your current favourite TV series?

I just binge watched The Cry which was EPIC!

What is your favourite thing to do in October?

Celebrate birthdays (mine and the other half’s)

What is your current food to crave?

Biscuits. Always biscuits!

Do you have any piercings or tattoos?

I do. I have my tragus pierced and two tattoos. Unfortunately the main holes in my earlobes closed up after not wearing earrings in them for ages 🙁

Are you an introvert or extrovert?

An introvert I think

What is your all time favourite Halloween film?

Not necessarily out at Halloween, but my fave scary movie is probably Scream!

Name your top 3 favourite artists/bands.

Mumford and Sons
Ed Sheeran
Biffy Clyro

Have you got any plans for Halloween?

I do not. I’m not sure yet if I am going to take the boys trick or treating – it’s looking to be a cold one!

Do you have any fears?

Yes. Of not being around to watch my children grow up, and also of spiders (although I am much better with them nowadays!).

Do you believe in life after love?

Yes – because everyone deserves to be happy at any point in their life.

Do you have any children? (or animals you treat as your babies)

I have my two gorgeous boys, Zachary and Oscar, and also two fur babies, our six month old kitten Milo and our rabbit Magic. We do also have fish!

What do you want for your future?

For my boys to be happy. To grow up knowing they are loved so much and for them to aspire to their dreams at every opportunity.

Be honest, why did you start blogging?

I was really frustrated being a full time working mum – I had all these thoughts in my head and I needed to vent them out.

What is your biggest achievement so far?

In terms of life, it has to me my beautiful boys. They are both wonderful little humans.

In terms of the blog, it would be making enough money to quit my job and be at home bringing up my children.

What are your ambitions with your blog?

To work with bigger brands and be a real support site for busy mums.

If there is one thing you’d like to change about your blog what would it be?

The earlier posts and photos. I haven’t had time to sit and make them better but one day I hope to. My writing and photography has definitely gotten better over the years!

Have you achieved any blog goals you set out to do this year?

I actually don’t know. I should probably go back and look to see what my goals were!

Where do you want to be in 10 years’ time?

I’d like to think that in ten years time we will have moved house and that maybe I’ll be doing more freelance work, rather than just my own blog work.

What is your dream holiday?

It is always Florida. I truly hope we get to take the boys there one day.

If you had an entire day to yourself what would you do?

Sleep, have a bath and read and book.

I”m now tagging Jen from Just Average Jen, Kate from Confessions of a New Mummy, Jess from Tantrums to Smiles, Rebecca from The Coastal Mummy, Kate from How To Feel Sexy In Big Knickers, and Mrs Mactivity.
