It's my wedding day! The kids are driving me nuts, It's my wedding day! The kids are driving me nuts, I've got a bloody whitehead, but I've waited 4 years for this day, two years extra than we were meant to! Can't believe I'm finally going to be a Mrs!!!

P.S. Spot the chicken in the photo...he was at the front door earlier 🤣🤣
My fave kinda workout is one that mixes cardio wit My fave kinda workout is one that mixes cardio with weights! It leaves me feeling like I've done a proper session! This was an accumulator, so you start with one exercise and then add another on, always repeating them in order before getting to exercise 6 and working back down them all again. A lot of the time I don't think I'm going to make it back down to the beginning but I always do!
We've had the most fabulous weekend! So much so th We've had the most fabulous weekend! So much so that I've hardly taken any photos and only have a beautiful nature reserve one! I've just been busy enjoying the time with my family!

Yesterday we had the usual swimming/footie morning before we spent the afternoon up at Huntingdon Gala Day. We bumped into our neighbour and the boys spent loads of time with her twin girls having oads of and I got some baby snuggles with her little one!

Today started out with Zach playing a great game of cricket...his team won, he bowled someone out and ran someone out too. Sadly I missed it as I was walking the dog! Oscar had a special tennis session too and Dean couldn't believe how well he can serve! Then we headed down to Dean's brother's to celebrate our Niece's 13th birthday. Spent the afternoon chatting, eating, and the kids had the best time with their cousins!

Just such a wonderful weekend and quite exciting that we are now at the stage that when we say bye to someone, it follows with "see you on the wedding day" 😃😃😃😃
Oh boy it's been so good to have sports day back!! Oh boy it's been so good to have sports day back!! 2 seperate days for us, Zach's was yesterday and Oscar's was this morning and they both did so well. We all know that Oscar is the sporty one out of the two of them, and yes, he came 1st in his (low) hurdles race and 2nd in the sprint (beaten to 1st by his super speedy bestie!). The red house won today overall so he was super happy!

Zach also did great in his activities, put on a good race and stormed it on the one where they had to join together to make a ball flow through. He managed his teammates brilliantly on that one - he's a real leader that one!

And then there was us. Two days meant two sets of parent races! Day 1 was better for me than day 2 (my thighs could really feel the previous day's race) and today was better for Dean. We think he came 1st or 2nd in his race but it was hard to tell.

How fun it was though to be back with a field full of parents cheering our children on. Yes it was hot out there but it was so worth it! Super proud of both my boys 😃😃

The photo of Oscar was taken by another mum and I had to zoom in to cut another child out hence it's a bit granier than Zach's!
I've had a lot of messages appear in my inbox aski I've had a lot of messages appear in my inbox asking me what exercise I've been doing, so I thought I'd give a little insight on the grid.

If you watch my stories, you'll know over the last couple of months I've really upped the exercise game...mostly because I'm getting married in just over 5 weeks, but also because, for me, I prefer to be slim. I have nothing against the whole body positivity movement, I think it's wonderful for people to feel comfortable whatever their shape, but for me, I'm most comfortable and happier slimmer.

I piled on the weight over the various lockdowns and when I looked in the mirror, I felt sh*t about myself. The need to get in my wedding dress (which was massive on me when I bought it) was the main thing that kick started me, and then I started simply wanting to just look and feel better about myself.

So here I am, about 2 months in, and today I've put a dress on that for a long time I couldn't wear because it didn't fit and I hated myself in it. I've discovered that when you put your mind to something, it's achievable!

I've been using the Own Your Own Goals by @davinamccall. I got a 14 day free trial as offered on their website and then I won't lie, I went to cancel because we all know money is tight, but ended up with an extra month free. And now I've carried it on.

The key thing is consistency. I would say on average I'm doing it 4-5 times a week. They are short workouts. Sometimes I just do a 30 min one, sometimes I'll double up. What I think is also key, is mixing it up with cardio and weights. There are workouts that do both in one (like cardio resist) and then other times I'll do a dedicated cardio one followed by a dedicated weights one. I also do a lot of combat exercises that involve lots of boxing moves. I also walk A LOT!

I'm also eating better. I'm having more salads for lunches and sometimes dinner, I still mostly eat fruit and fat free yogurt for brekkie, I'm not eating biscuits and trying to resist the real naughty stuff (except for last week!), and I'm down to just my morning cup of tea and otherwise drinking water.

I look better, feel better, and feel strong. That's my journey so far!
My people ❤️❤️❤️❤️ We've spent a My people ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We've spent a fabulous day celebrating the jubilee! The weather was just glorious and there was lots of fun had by all 😃

Have you been celebrating or avoiding?!!
I finally got to have my hen!!! The biggest thanks I finally got to have my hen!!! The biggest thanks goes out to my amazing sister @mrs.carrie.b who organised the most fantastic day, my mum Jacqui for helping her prep the night before, and the rest of my hens who just gave me the best day!

I was chaperoned to the 02 by my nephew where they were all gathered to greet me for a boozy brunch, then we headed to Boom Bar for darts, shuffleboard and crazy golf, which was followed by lots of cocktails served by my nephew who hilariously donned some butler in the buff gear (plus boxers!!!) for the whole evening! Fun games, lots of chat and many laughs! I just had the best day!!! There's loads more photos on my stories if you want to take a look!
