I love knitwear. I didn’t used to – it used to make me feel itchy and uncomfortable, but as I have got older, I find myself liking it more and more. There is nothing like being cosy in a warm jumper or cardi on a cold day – especially when I have to factor in the pretty chilly school runs!
I have been trying to take myself more out of my comfort zone with my fashion at the moment – trying not to stick to the same colours and designs that I would always wear, trying something different.
I have been browsing through the Esprit website and am mighty impressed with what they have to offer in the way of knitwear.
I love this stripy gunmetal jumper. I am a big fan of stripes at the moment and with all of the bright colours involved in this item, I know it would look fab teamed up with a pair of jeans and winter boots. It’s also 100% cotton which means it will be soft and not itchy at all.
This fine knit cotton jumper is also super cute. I am a sucker for grey but I love the polka dot detail on this and it looks really comfy. Again, being 100% pure cotton, I bet this is super soft. It would look great underneath my tan leather jacket and teamed up with my grey fluffy boots!
I am a big fan of ponchos. I love the way they sit, wrap around you, sit over thicker clothes (on really cold days), and are just that bit different to a cardigan. This soft checked one looks like it would do the job on a cold day and I’d be a stylish mama at the school gates!
Finally, you can never go wrong with a bit of animal print and this gorgeous and stylish cotton jumper looks delish! I love the grey (did I mention that I love grey?!) and it looks like a great fit.
One thing that I noticed whilst browsing through the site was that there is a size guide on each item, so if something comes up a little on the large side or is true to size, it tells you. This is brilliant because sizes vary so differently from product to product and I am never knowing what size I should order. This is a big help!
I really like the look of the fashion on Esprit – it isn’t a company I have used before but I have no hesitations about ordering from them. They have just the right pieces to update my wardrobe this season.
