I love a dressing gown I do! It’s the first thing I put on in the morning, and whenever I get home and know I haven’t got to go back out again, the bra comes off, the pj’s go on, along with the dressing gown. Heck, I sometimes even pop it all on when I know I’ve got to go back out! Only on a Wednesday night when I have to pick Zach up at 9pm from scouts, and it’s all hidden under my massive coat! I should add that I don’t do this in the warmer weather when I can’t cover it all up 🤣
I have my big fleecey gown and my big hooded blanket style one that is just so warm on those cold winter nights, but when the spring/summer rolls around, both of those things can become a bit too warm, and so a lighter, cooler option was something I should have added to my collection but hadn’t quite got around to.
So when IDENTITY LINGERIE got in touch to see if I wanted to review one of their products and I saw that they sell beautiful dressing gowns, it was the perfect opportunity to get that cooler gown into my collection.

I opted for their long satin dressing gown in green because I thought the colour looked divine and it looked so classy too.
When it arrived, it was in a box, wrapped in paper and it felt like I was opening something really special and luxurious. Which it turned out, I was!
Held together in it’s own little protective bag which is made of the same luxury material that the dressing gown is, I unpacked it and was immediately wowed! It was so smooth and silky and I couldn’t wait to put it on.
Put it on I did, and well, I kinda felt like a princess. I know that probably sounds ridiculous but you know when you put something on and it just feels so divine, and you know it costs quite a lot of money and so it feels really special. That’s how it made me feel. Oh and incredibly sexy too! It’s long and glam, but comfy and cool. It’s everything I would want in a spring/summer gown! It has a gorgeous thick belt to tie it up with, and it stays tied up pretty well considering it’s a slippery satin material.
Now the weather is starting to warm up, this will be my go-to dressing gown first thing in the morning and when I come home. The fluffy fleece can have a wash and a rest ready for later in the year, and I can wander around feeling like a million dollars in this beauty 🤣
